SkinPen Precision – AKA Collagen Induction Therapy or Micro Needling

Introducing Perfection’s latest treatment, SkinPen Precision! Micro Needling or Collagen Induction Therapy will stimulate collagen production, resulting in regeneration of the skin with visible improvement in fine lines and wrinkles, complexion and scarring.

Micro – Needling was found in the the late 90s by a Doctor who came up with the concept that pricking the skin promotes collagen formulation.  By 2007 the first Micro-Needling pens were launched and last year saw the arrival of the NEW Skin Pen Precision.

The Skin Pen Precision Micro-Needling Device is the only U.S. engineered and manufactured micro-needling pen on the market, with patent-pending, medical grade stainless steel needle cartridge. It is a disposable cartridge with a lock out mechanism ensuring single use only.

In a nutshell Micro- needling is an aesthetic procedure that involves repeatedly puncturing the skin with tiny sterile probes in order to induce the production of collagen.

We are very proud to announce that we have won the award for Best Beauty Salon in Wiltshire. Thank you so much for your support!

Muddy Stilettos is ‘The Urban Guide to the Countryside’, a super-useful and witty lifestyle blog for those who live outside the big cities but don’t have an over-riding impulse to wear tweed and Alice bands. The blog started in Bucks & Oxon in 2012 and has now spread to a total of 18 counties, each with its own brilliant, ex-national journalist as editor who sources the quirky, cool, unmissable parts of the county they live in.

They have their ear to the ground for everything from the new hot supper club to the best upcoming theatre productions, from the best dog-friendly pubs to where to get that killer haircut, and every week they produce a curated Muddy Guide that pulls together the very best things to do in the county for their smart, cosmopolitan readers who want help knowing where to find the fun.

Best of all, they have an independent outlook and a total allergy to advertorial that keeps their readers coming back for more, which is why Muddy Stilettos now has more than 100,000 subscribers.

The Perfection girls get suited and booted for charity!

The Perfection Team had a superb time at the Hullavington Masquerade Ball on Saturday!

Sneaking out of their usual black tunics, the team transformed themselves using their beloved MAC, Jane Iredale and Amazing Cosmetics Make Up!  Supporting our lovely client Emma raising money for The Heart Rhythm Charity & Fibromyalgia Action, not only did we donate one of our sought after Perfection vouchers…we also had a spectacular evening and met lots of lovely new people.

It was such a great night and so lovely to see so many dance styles mingling together on the floor… The Schmoozenbergs who provided us with live music were fantastic!!! Such a fun way to support a charity and watching our dancing queen Georgia on the dance floor dancing to Mission Impossible had the team in stitches  It’s so nice that we can all work and socialise together…we really have the best team!

Check out the Perfection Girls and their masks!  (and this time we are not talking Face Packs!)  ;o)

The Perfection Story

Like many beauty therapists it had always been a dream of mine to open my own salon. I had worked for many salons and spas locally and had always hoped that one day I could turn my dream into a reality.

Like most people, I would often treat myself to a treatment as regularly as I could afford and the majority of times I left the treatment room feeling not only disappointed but also frustrated (frustrated in the sense that I knew I could do the same treatment one hundred times better), and believe me I cannot emphasise enough how I hate feeling this way. I am always desperate to enjoy my treatment and reap the benefits instead of feeling cheated and underwhelmed. My husband would ask “how was your treatment?” and unfortunately the general reply would always be “distinctly average”.

This feeling was what eventually motivated me to follow my dream, together with the support of my family and friends.
